25 Ways To A Better Mood

We all have those down days where we just want to stay in bed and eat junk food but we can't do that all the time. So I thought I'd share 25 ways to boost your mood!.

1.Get outside, take your headphones and get some fresh air. It can get stuffy when you're stuck indoors so getting some fresh air will definitely help.

2.Listen to music goes with the above really listening to your favourite songs or concentrating on the lyrics makes a difference because we all relate to them in some ways.

3.Bake your favourite cake, cookies, cupcakes anything you like!.

4.Talk to someone your mum, dad, sibling, gran, granddad if things are bugging you it's best to talk about them. You'll feel loads better when you do honest. Or if you're not one to talk then write things down in a notebook or the notes section on your phone.

5. See your friends, go to the cinema, have coffee to take your mind off things.

6.Watch your favourite YouTuber mine is Brogan Tate she makes weekly vlogs and they always put me in a better mood because she's always so positive. She's definitely my inspiration I have said before I'd like to make YouTube videos but I've never had enough confidence. I also watch Grace Victory she's another one who inspires me.

7.Find a new hobby such as drawing, painting, knitting, or start blogging.

8.Join a club to meet new people, make new friends and connect with like minded people.

9.Have a pamper session take a nice bath, put on a face mask, wash your hair. Then put your make up on or just have make up free day which is also just as good.

10.Get organised! whether your make up needs decluttering or your wardrobe is running out of space now's the time to sort things out!.

11.Declutter your social media accounts. Stop following the negative Nancy's and find some inspirational accounts who post positive things.

12.Similar to above surround yourself with positive people who make you happy, who inspire you, and who always tell you don't give up.

13. Smile it will help honest!.

14.Put on your favourite outfit.

15.Find positive quotes on Pinterest and make a board of your faves.

16.Write down all the things you appreciate in your life. This puts things into perspective and you'll feel happier for example I appreciate my family and friends for always being there.

17.Visit your grandparents.

18.Watch your fave Tv series or find a new one, which I have finally done! also I have recently got back into watching crime docs on YouTube.

Life Update

Hey everyone I'm back! my laptop was full of viruses #ohdear so my dad had to fix it and now it's virus free (fingers crossed!). Anyway it's time for a life update post as I've not done one of these for ages.

New Job!
I am proud to say I have another job! with the help of Shaw trust I have started at B&M it was my first day on Tuesday (21st) I was doing shelf filing with another girl who I met on the John Lewis course. My shaw trust advisor came with me on the first day, but wasn't really much help sort of just left me to it I felt a bit let down if I'm honest and am not that keen on my advisor either.

Feeling Happy!.
I really thought I'd be unemployed a lot longer than this but things seemed to of happened pretty quickly. Which I'm feeling good about and now I can start thinking of other things to do. I have thought of a few things but at the moment I'll see how I get on at B&M.

Let's Chat About: Relationships And Sex

In this post I'm going to chat about my relationship experiences, online dating and feeling pressured into sex.

School And College
I wasn't one of these girls to get a boyfriend through school like most of my friends did I hated school and didn't really feel like I fitted in. I was shy and quiet and got bullied a lot but when I went to college I met my first boyfriend at 18 and at the time I was happy. I guess I got caught up in the whole I've got a boyfriend now but didn't really know how to go about it if that makes sense? It didn't last we never really saw each other and mostly spoke on msn and that's how he dumped me.

Online Dating
I have joined other online dating apps in the past such as Tinder but I never found anyone on them or most just wanted sex....anyway I met my 2nd online on a site called meetme I cant remember the year, he lived in London and I live in Essex so it wasn't really ideal. I was so happy and thought I'd found the one but it didn't last long and he dumped me by text yes text message!. The relationship itself was just shit we never really spent time together and when we did it was always with his friends it just felt like he didn't care (he probably didn't). I have learnt so much from it this relationship made me feel out of place and really awkward like I couldn't be myself.

I met my last boyfriend at volunteering in 2013 and we got together in 2014 we spent as much time together as possible the first few months were good. After we'd been together a year he ended it which was so unexpected. We did so many things together and I was very happy with him but it just didn't work out how I wanted. If I'm honest I did feel awkward sometimes when we used to see each other at volunteering I never really spoke to him or kissed him in front of people, I think I was worried about being judged or doing something wrong.

Feeling Pressured
I felt pressured into having sex in my past relationships and that's why they ended because they didn't want to wait but I don't see why it matters? why should anyone do something they're not ready for or comfortable doing?. If it was the other way round I'd be patient and wait for them to be ready if you really loved someone you'd wait right? I'm 27 now and still a virgin and sometimes it bothers me because I wonder if I'll ever have sex. I know it probably isn't the end of the world but sometimes I really do worry if I'll ever find love and actually do it. I want to talk about it but I don't know who to talk to. I know there's probably others out here to who are in the same boat as me so I guess I shouldn't feel alone.

I hope you liked this post and found it helpful.

Let's Chat About: Bullying

I had a tough time at school, I was bullied a lot, I never really fitted in or had friends and I just hated school it wasn't a great time for me.

I found school hard, the work was difficult and as I have Fragile X this made things even harder I was always left out, no one wanted to be my friend and I always on my own. I got bullied by this girls best friend who didn't like me being friends with her friend she called me troll and I just took it and did nothing because I wasn't confident enough to speak up. I felt unhappy, lonely, sad and all I wanted was to fit in and have friends.

When I did a computer course at college I had a best friend and we always had fun, went places, had sleepovers. After sometime we drifted apart and she deleted me off social media I do miss her sometimes as we had a lot of fun and made good memories. I know that happens to everyone so I'm not dwelling on it.

A lot of the girls in my year were all stuck up and so bitchy and everyone was labelled eg the geeks, the popular's etc. I never had a bf through school, I know it wasn't important but I guess at times I felt left out because everyone else had one.

I do find it hard to make friends but once you get to know me I do come out my shell even if it takes me a while. It's not easy as I am quite shy/quiet but over time I've gotten more confident since being at volunteering for the past 6 years. Even since blogging I've not really made any friends from it as I find it difficult and when I do try message others they don't respond.

There's bullying everywhere these days school, work, online and I think online bullying has gotten worse. There are so many trolls out there making fake accounts just to say nasty things. Also body shamming is just as bad we see it everywhere magazines, Instagram, etc but there's no need for it. Since I made my blog I've not had any nasty comments which I thought I'd get but I know I could still get them.

If you are or know anyone who is being bullied then speak out, talk to a teacher, family member someone you can trust. I've put some info down below should you need it.

Let's Have A Chat About: Periods

Today I'm talking about periods or in other words mother nature! haha. Periods don't really get talked about much these days. The always or tampax adverts are so false and make periods look fun which I'm pretty sure no girl has EVER said.

I don't remember when I started my period I might've been 11 or 12 I'm not sure I was quite heavy then and they used to last about 5 days. It wasn't fun at school or college when being on your period when you have to change your pad etc.

When I had a job last month (I'm not there anymore) my period came the week I started which wasn't ideal. My period always falls when I don't want it which is a huge inconvenience I do delay it sometimes but not very often you can read about my pill experience here http://sarahbobbeal.blogspot.co.uk/2017/01/lets-have-chat-my-experiance-on-pill.html

The week before my due I'm normally moody, eat whatever I want and more and feel unmotivated and don't want to do anything. It's pretty much the same for the whole 3 days my periods here. I get tummy pains, achy boobs, achy vagina and just feel so meh and wish I didn't have to have periods. It would be so much easier if all girls got a text saying you're not pregnant have a nice day!. Also I think tampons/pads should have vouchers for money off chocolate or ice cream.

I've never tried tampons and I don't think I ever will I don't like the idea of inserting it into my virgina lol!. I've always used pads and get on fine with them I used to only buy the ones without wings but now I like them! (they're more practical!). I normally live in my pyjamas, leggings or some sort of comfy wear when it's my time of the month as they're way more comfortable than jeans how can anyone wear jeans?!?.

I hope you liked this post!

Let me know if you relate to any of this by leaving a comment I'd love to hear!.
