20 Job Hunting Annoyances

1.You find a job you start applying and then get to that dreaded questionnaire you answer all the questions get to the end to then be told you're unsuccessful why?!?.

2.You need to drive if I had a job and money then I would!.

3.When employers assume you can drive.

4.You get to interview stage but then either hear nothing or it's a no.

5.You apply for loads of jobs but only hear back from say one.

6. You get a call about a job they put you on the spot by asking questions then say you'll hear back in a few days they pass you never hear.

7.You need experience how can I get experience if I can't get a job?!?.

8.The websites never get updated.

9.When you get sent to some employment place such as seetec and they're just as useless as the job centre.

10.When the interviewer saids they will contact you in so many days but never do.

11.When you don't get feedback from an interview.

12.Questionnaire's are unfair.

13.You see the same companies advertising (such as Next) all the time even though you apply you hear nothing clearly a crap company to work for.

14.Really detailed job descriptions for a simple job a monkey could do lol.

15.Long applications WHY???

16. No follow-up from a company after you’ve been interviewed.

17. Companies who post jobs, and then don’t even acknowledge receiving your CV after you apply.

18.When you get asked salary requirements when applying for a job.

19.When  you get asked why you want to work somewhere just give me a job!!!.

20. Group interviews just no.

Fragile X- It's Ok To

As a lot of people know I have Fragile X a learning disability so I thought I would share why it's ok to feel/go through certain things.

It's ok to be shy when meeting new people people shouldn't pass that of as you being rude.

It's ok to get upset I can relate to this a lot I can easily cry at things some not worth it but others are and it's okay to let your emotions out.

It's ok to ask for help don't be afraid I am sometimes like this but I am getting better at it.

It's okay to get angry/frustrated with things.

It's ok to not be sociable.

It's ok to not be good at something such as maths I'm not good at it and it doesn't bother me at all.

It's ok to be quiet it doesn't make you any different you're still you and people should accept that.

It's ok to have  Fragile X.

It's ok to have a disability.

Lush Sexbomb Bathbomb Review

I took a trip to the Colchester Lush store and decided I should try a different bath bomb and so I picked up sex bomb. I liked the colour of this bath bomb and the paper flower in the middle. It fizzed for ages and made the bath water a nice pink colour and it wasn't overly sweet which is good if you're not a fan of sweet scents.

This bath bomb contains jasmine absolute which is floral and seductive, clary sage oil for calming, sensual and soothing, ylang ylang oil which is sweet, heady and floral. It contains 20 ingredients and costs £3.50. I would possibly buy this one again it's not a favourite but still a nice bath bomb.

Rimmel Fresher Skin Foundation Review

My all time favourite foundation is the Rimmel wake me up in light porcelain anyway I saw this new Rimmel fresher skin foundation on their instagram and thought I would try it and share my honest reviews.

I had high hopes for this foundation and couldn't wait to use it but to be honest I am pretty disappointed after putting it on it felt a bit heavy even after cleansing my skin it was the same when I used primer as a base it still felt heavy and stiff. It didn't feel like it was falling of my face when popping to the shops which was good. It's a mouse type consistency but it was hard to blend and you hardly need any on your brush it went on ok and eventually blended. It smells quite nice which is good I guess! haha but I won't be re-purchasing this.

This foundation is far from breathable as it saids on the pot it didn't feel like that at all the pot also has a white plastic cover which is messy when opening and to be honest it doesn't need to be there. It comes in 6 shades from classic beige, ivory, soft beige, true ivory, light porcelain and natural beige.

But overall I wasn't impressed with this foundation at all and will stick to the Rimmel wake me up foundation in light porcelain. This foundation cost £5.99 from boots it's part of an 2 for £10 offer on Rimmel cosmetics.

There comes a point in your life when you feel like giving up because nothing is happening that's me right now. As a lot of people know I am unemployed and it's been a long struggle to find a job all I keep getting is rejections and I'm not sure why? where am I going wrong? what the hell do companies want these days??? blood???. Am also so sick of everyone saying the same thing don't give up a,job will come along yada yada yada that's all well and good if you already have a job but it's getting to the point of is this how my life is going to be?

Another thing is these companies will be advertising again soon that's what really annoys me because they clearly took on a wrong un when they could've taken on me but no I'm clearly not good enough. Freeport are ALWAYS advertising jobs and I can't even get on there! I mean come on what is this?. I really do try my best and apply for as many jobs as possible but I just have no luck and I don't understand why? my CV is up to date,I have skills and experience what more do you want?.Every job rejection really isn't nice at all when you have hope which I do and it's so frustrating when no one will employ me and I just don't know why.Sometimes it helps to write things down but I just want to post good news not bad news all the time I hate it.

I'm starting to get more and more bored now finding things to do with my time is hard I have too much of it to fill but I just don't know what to do. It's so frustrating when I just want a job but I'm really starting to lose hope because all I get is rejections and it's coming up to nearly another year and that's quite scary :(. I feel like I'm so behind from everyone and my life is just at a stand still nothing is happening and I can't keep going on like this year after year. Things weren't meant to be this way I was mean to do volunteering for a few months and get a job but 5 years later I'm still there and in the same place.I'm so fed up with everything now and I wish something good would happen to me for once and not get all bad news I just want some luck.

Time For A Change

Well here we are writing post about change as everyone knows it's been a real struggle finding a job and now after so many rejections I'm starting to wonder if I should have a career change and do something completely different. There are so many shop jobs out there but there's also many people going for the same jobs so it's very hard. I mostly look on indeed or the freeport website which always has jobs but I rarely get an interview there also the hours are stupid. After looking for so long, volunteering for 5 years and 2 xmas jobs it's really time for a change and to start looking for something else. Maybe I don't really have enough skills? but then again someone who does or is overqualified is still not in a job.

I have skills and experience in retail and shops but maybe because everyone else is applying for them I don't stand much of a chance if you really think about it they get loads of applications and others have more skills and experience so they get the job.I apply for loads of jobs but either get no reply,an interview but no job with every reject email (mostly) or very rare phone call it's pretty disheartening when you have hope.I think sending an email is unprofessional I think a phone call is more polite and professional but there's not much you can do.

I don't really know what my ideal career is but I like blogging, writing about things, using the computer, being creative and learning new things. I really do wish it was easy to get a job but it hasn't been and I honestly don't want to be on benefits forever I've been on them since 2008 I think which is absolute shit. While I have Fragile X a learning disability I won't let it stop me from doing things I want to do or stop me from getting my dream job which I'm yet to discover.I think I'm going to start applying for any jobs now well within reason but something like admin or office or digital marketing I know I don't have experience in them but I am willing learn and just see what happens I will still apply for shop jobs but hopefully in the meantime I'll find the career I want to do.
